Taking over Melbourne’s iconic Astor Theatre, this is the day of the Festival where the filmmaking industry comes together for an afternoon that will inspire and educate.


Whether you’re a more established filmmaker wanting direct access to the best organisations in the business, or if you’re burgeoning talent not quite knowing where to start, Industry Open Day is the one-stop-shop for all the information you’ll need.


Industry Open Day includes a program of free forums presented by Open Channel, Victorian University and the Australian Screen Editors Guild plus a score of exhibiting organisations ready and willing to answer all your questions.


Local legend Paul Harris will be broadcasting Triple R program Film Buffs Forecast live and the Top 100 competition sessions will screen throughout.
