Under the radar

Youth Short Film COmpetition

The City of Port Philip Youth Services will host an under 21's open entry category in the 2014 St Kilda Film Festival.

There is a growing number of young filmmakers producing shorts. Although the St Kilda Film Festival is an open entry competition, it is often difficult for young people to compete against more experienced film makers of an older age. Under the Radar gives filmmakers under 21 the chance to shine. This category is solely dedicated to the work that is being produced by young filmmakers in Australia (Please note: films produced outside Australia are not eligible).

Under the Radar provides an opportunity for young filmmakers to show their work in an internationally recognised film festival, to encourage young film makers to pursue their craft further and encourage future stars of cinema - both in front of and behind the camera.

Entries close 27 February 2015. Applicants must be aged 21 yers or under as of this date to be eligible.
