Peel: An Exercise in Disipline (1982)

A road trip on a hot summer's day turns into an excruiciating war of attrition between three family members in the kind of story we all know too well. While there's a lot of faimiliarity, there's also a strange sense of foreboding as anything can happen on this lonely stretch of road. There's something very Australian in this work as Campion mixes a great amount of dry humour with a dash of danger and are let into the lives of this family for one moment that may very well be a never-ending loop.
