Four shorts from Scottish Documentary Institute’s emerging talent initiative Bridging the Gap on the theme of ‘Turbulence’.

Established in 2004 to nurture documentary filmmakers and audiences in Scotland and beyond, Scottish Documentary Institute (SDI) specialises in documentary training, production and distribution, supporting filmmakers through its diverse program of international activities and high-quality training programs.

SDI has produced over a hundred and fifty films, screening in eighty countries worldwide, garnering international recognition as being at the cutting edge of the documentary sector. Bridging art and industry, SDI is committed to supporting authored films driven by content and emotional experience.

As lover's of documentary and all things independent cinema, the St Kilda Film Festival is proud to be working with the Scottish Film Institute in presenting some of their recent outstanding works and presenting them to Australian audiences around the country.
