St Kilda Film Festival's Live Events Announced

The 38th St Kilda Film Festival will return to hosting the much-loved Opening Night IRL this year. A highlight on the cultural calendar, the Opening Night of the 2021 St Kilda Film Festival, presented in partnership with Mandala Wines, will take place at St Kilda’s iconic Astor Theatre on Thursday 20 May.

In times of crisis, there is no better escape than in to the world of film. In the loooong months of lockdown in Melbourne, I would estimate I have spent most of it transfixed to a screen, my small world opening up to the infinite possibilities’ cinema allows.
