International Perspectives – Part 1

This year we received so many films from Australian filmmakers with an eye for global issues and stories. This session is packed with stories about coming to Australia from elsewhere, and the challenges, triumphs and joys of taking that risk. You’ll find moving stories of migration, politically charged period pieces, and so much more. 

Most of all these are important stories, deftly and sensitively told, that proves Australia has more than earned its place on the global film stage.
