Our Tandem Tales session of films propelled by a cast of two have been a huge hit. But this year things have got even leaner with many excellent films featuring a cast of just one.

These shorts present a serious challenge to performers and filmmakers, demanding laser focus and nerves of steel. Thankfully filmmakers were absolutely up to the challenge, resulting in this session packed with astonishing performances and deft direction. Their admirable restraint pays-off in intense and taut stories sure to be savoured by audiences everywhere.
