In trying times, we turn to artists to shine a light on contemporary issues and cultural hardships, and these films are absolutely excelling. These bold, uncompromising stories dive into the contemporary Australian society from a range of perspectives and through distinct voices. They are intimate, often funny but always resonant, and challenging in all the right ways. This is one not to be missed, and features films that will linger with you long after the curtain closes.
