International Perspectives

Wow! In this program the art of the camera really comes to the surface as we encounter stories from Mexico, Nepal, France, Canada and places elsewhere. It's a great mix of film styles, with several of the fictional narratives dovetailing with the documentary form in the most surprising of ways. The work from these expats and others is of an extraordinarily high order and we're very proud to have them in the program. Most of all, these are important stories, deftly and sensitively told, that proves Australia has more than earned its place on the global film stage.
